Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Sightseeing
Arrival in Mysore
Pickup from Mysore Railway Station in the morning and proceed to Coorg (approx. 4 hours). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later visit Abbey Falls, Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple (built in 1820), and enjoy the musical fountain at Raja's Seat in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Talacauvery
Day Trip
After breakfast, proceed to Talacauvery (65 km – one way). En route visit Bhagamandala Triveni Sangamam, the sacred confluence of the rivers Cauvery, Kannike, and Sujyothi. Continue to Talacauvery, the origin of the holy River Kaveri, and climb about 300 steps to reach Brahmagiri Peak. Later return and enjoy free time for shopping.
Day 3 – Mysore Sightseeing
Coorg To Mysore
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Mysuru. En route visit Dubare Elephant Camp, explore Kaveri Nisargadhama known for its bamboo groves and hanging bridge, and visit the Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple followed by shopping. Arrive in Mysore by around 4:00 PM and transfer to the hotel.
Day 4 – Mysore Palace and Zoo
Coorg
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Mysuru including the grand Mysore Palace, the famous Mysore Zoo, the musical fountain at Brindavan Gardens, the scenic Balmuri Falls, and Sukha Vana Bird Park. Later enjoy shopping in the city.
Day 5 – Mysore
Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for sightseeing including Chamundeshwari Temple, St. Philomena's Church, Karanji Lake, and the Melody World Wax Museum. Later drop at Mysore Railway Station as per train schedule.
